Often, yes. For mowing, green waste removal and simple garden jobs, an address and a few photos are usually enough. Larger or ongoing jobs, like strata and commercial scopes, need a site visit.

Regular work is priced per visit or per month, based on the size of the property, what's included and how often we visit. We don't charge hourly for regular mowing and garden care.

Every property is different. Lawn size, access, slope, condition and green waste all change the time a job takes, so a fixed price list would be wrong for most people. We'd rather give you an accurate written quote.

For regular visits, clippings and prunings are included. For big clean-ups, disposal is part of the quote, based on the volume.

No. As long as we can get into the yard, you don't need to be there. Let us know about gate codes, pets and anything to avoid.

It depends on the service and the season. Lawns usually need a visit every one to two weeks in summer and every three to four weeks in winter. Gardens and hedges are usually every four to eight weeks.

We move you to the next suitable day. Mowing waterlogged clay soils damages the lawn, so we'd rather wait.

Yes. Let us know and we'll adjust your schedule. Many customers reduce visits in winter when growth slows.

It depends on sun and use. Couch suits full sun and heavy wear, soft-leaf buffalo handles part shade, and zoysia is slow-growing and low maintenance. See our guide to choosing turf.

Common causes are lawn grubs in late summer and autumn, fungal disease after humid wet weather, dry spots where water runs off, and dog urine. Each needs a different fix, so it's worth identifying the cause before treating.

Early spring as the soil warms and again in early autumn are the key times for warm-season grasses here. A light summer feed can help lawns under heavy use.

Short clippings from regular cuts can go back into the lawn in dry weather, but long or wet clippings smother the grass. We usually catch and remove them.

We prune small trees and large shrubs that can be reached safely from the ground or a small ladder. Large trees, climbing work and removals need a qualified arborist.

We can supply pine bark, hardwood chip, sugar cane or other mulches. We'll recommend one for your garden and list it separately on the quote.

It goes to green waste facilities, where it's recycled into mulch and compost.

No. We only remove green waste. For household rubbish or building waste you'll need a rubbish removal service or skip bin.
