Bridgeman Downs has some of the biggest residential lawns in our service area. We mow them on weekly and fortnightly schedules, with edging along long driveways, trimming around pools, tennis courts and garden beds, and a full blow-down of paths and entertaining areas on every visit.

Mowing large lawns properly
Large lawns should be cut often enough that we never take more than about a third of the leaf off in one go. In a Bridgeman Downs summer that usually means weekly or fortnightly cuts. Longer gaps mean scalping, clumps of clippings and a stressed, yellow lawn afterwards.
We alternate the mowing direction between visits to stop the grass leaning and to keep the stripes even, and we collect clippings so they don't smother the lawn.
